La Petite Provence offers language instruction from native French speakers in an informal Provençal setting, including:

After School Children’s Group Classes, Ages 4 to 15

The afternoon children’s language classes are limited to small groups of children to make sure we can give enough one-on-one attention, and yet have a fun group dynamic. French language and culture are introduced in a playful, natural, and informal way. We are learning to speak and understand French, and create and read stories. The younger groups sing and play French games in French (le jeu de l’oie, le cochon qui rit, le mille bornes, etc.). The oldest groups are learning to write and read as well. These classes are short, focused, and light-hearted.

Adult Classes

The adult classes are playful. We guarantee a great accent, and levels of language you won’t get from tapes and books, nor a classic class. We teach a live language! Small children are welcome to play next to us, and we expect you to jump in when they need help, as we are not set up for baby sitting.

Private Tutoring, Children & Adults

$60/hour for up to three students (friends, parent/child, etc.), plus $20 for each additional student. Call to schedule your class.

Professional Translation

$30/hour for professional translation.
